The Game

The goal of the competition was to design an autonomous robot that aims to "herd" the most sheep (1" foam Nerf balls) to your scoring area. The team that successfully shepherds the most sheep into their scoring area wins. Small sheep are able to be loaded only in the respective loading zones, while  three mega sheep (4" styrofoam balls) are  can be found up an incline and off the beaten path. For those willing to explore, mega sheep are worth significantly more than their small counterparts.

What if we just send it with the megaducks?" - Edan

I THOUGHT THEY WERE CALLED SHEEP?

For the longest time Edan thought the sheep were ducks so we started calling the sheeps "ducks" and now the megasheep are megaducks.

What was our minimum viable product?

We decided to ignore the small sheep and instead score a single megaduck (4" diam ball) in the lower scoring area. Our reach goal was to extend our intake system to allow for the herding of two megaducks, with the added possibility of shooting them into the upper scoring basket.
